Not a law firm

Earned Benefits Consulting, LLC (“EBC”) is a consulting and application-support firm. We are not a law firm, and our consultants are not attorneys. Nothing on this website or in any communication with EBC constitutes legal advice. If you need legal advice or representation in a contested matter, we will refer you to a licensed attorney.

No government affiliation

EBC is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the Social Security Administration (SSA), the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), the U.S. Department of Labor, or any other federal, state, or local government agency. Government services for benefit applications are available directly and free of charge from the relevant agencies.

Scope of services

EBC provides educational information, eligibility consultation, and assistance preparing applications and supporting documentation. We do not represent claimants before any administrative tribunal. Where representation is needed — including SSA hearings or VA appeals — we coordinate with appropriately licensed or accredited representatives.

VA-related services

Federal law (38 U.S.C. § 5901) restricts who may charge fees for assistance with VA benefit claims. EBC does not charge fees for the preparation, presentation, or prosecution of an initial VA claim. Veterans seeking representation for VA appeals should consult a VA-accredited attorney, claims agent, or recognized Veterans Service Organization.

Social Security Disability

Fee arrangements for representation before the Social Security Administration are regulated by SSA and require agency approval. EBC’s consulting fees are for application preparation and support, are charged directly to the client, and are not contingent on the outcome of any benefit determination.

No guarantee of outcome

Eligibility for any government benefit is determined solely by the relevant agency. EBC makes no guarantee, warranty, or prediction regarding the outcome of any application, claim, or appeal.

Questions
